Extraordinary Stained Glass

When I’m not knee-deep in stained glass, crafting signs, or trying to keep up with teenage boys, you’ll often find me down by the lake pulling logs and limbs out of the water. I’m drawn to the weathered, worn textures; the kind of natural character that only time and water can create. All of this wood and other found objects clutter the studio… I call it “inventory”… patiently waiting for inspiration to strike, usually in the middle of the night!

Sometimes, I have a project in mind, and that’s when I dive into my stash, hunting for the perfect piece to bring the vision to life. Other times, I just let the materials speak to me and see where they lead. I’m not quite a packrat… though, it’s a razor-thin line!… but I love the thrill of turning forgotten scraps into something new and meaningful.

Whether it’s rustic benches, candle holders, light fixtures, or tables, each creation carries a story, blending history, texture, and a touch of sustainable spirit. It’s all about giving these weathered treasures a second chance to shine.
